Fire at Port Augusta

Emergency services were called to reports of a house fire on Christopherson Court just before 1am Sunday 2 February.

When police arrived, they discovered one unit alight with the fire spreading to an adjoining unit. Fire crews worked to extinguish the blaze however both units were destroyed. Thankfully no one was injured.

Port Augusta CIB attended the scene and Fire Cause Investigators will be attending later this morning to determine the cause.
