Serious crash at Port Augusta West

The Eyre Highway has reopened after a serious crash at Port Augusta West last night.

About 8.40pm on Sunday 27 October, emergency services were called to the area after reports of a crash involving a Kenworth truck and a Ford station wagon.

The driver of the station wagon, a 24-year-old Port Augusta man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the truck, a 29-year-old Clearview man suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.

Major Crash officers attended the scene.

Investigations are continuing.
