10 Mar 2025 8:45am

A man has been arrested after causing hundreds-of-thousands of dollars’ worth of damage in the City this morning.

About 5.30am this morning (Monday 10 March) police were called to a business on Franklin Street after reports of a break in and damage to a vehicle parked out the front of the building.

When police arrived they found a large amount of damage to a revolving door, a car parked outside with a smashed windscreen and damage to a second door along a laneway. Inside they found damage to fire extinguishers and water valves which caused flooding inside the building.

Still inside police located a 36-year-old Victorian man. He was arrested and has been charged with three counts of property damage, serious criminal trespass.

He is expected to be refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
