Police investigate serious crash at Paracombe

Police are investigating a serious crash at Paracombe, where a car has gone down an embankment.

About 10am today (Tuesday 4 June), police and emergency services were called to Gorge Road near Corkscrew Road after reports that a silver Honda sedan had left the road and crashed.

The driver and sole occupant, a 60-year-old man from Paradise was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

Major Crash officers attended the scene and are investigating the circumstances of the collision.

Roads in the area have reopened.
