O-Bahn track open after serious crash at Tea Tree Plaza Interchange

Police are investigating a crash at Tea Tree Plaza bus interchange this morning.  The O-Bahn track has been cleared and is open in both directions.

At 9.20am Friday 4 April, police and emergency services were called to the Tea Tree Plaza interchange, Smart Road, Modbury after reports a bus had crashed into a tree at the end of the O-Bahn track.

The driver and sole occupant of the bus, a 27-year-old man, was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

The interchange was closed for several hours until the bus could be removed safety from the area but reopened at 5pm.

Anyone who witnessed the crash and has not spoken to police is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
