Update: Woman charged with murder

About 8.40am on Sunday 7 July, emergency services were called to a home on Medina Street after reports that the occupant was unresponsive.

Upon arrival police located a 60-year-old man deceased.

A 58-year-old woman, who is known to the man, was located at the home and placed under arrest. She has been charged with murder and refused police bail to appear at Port Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow (Monday 8 July).

Local Detectives and officers from Major Crime attended the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.
