Lives lost revised - Milang

25 Jul 2024 12:48pm

The number of lives lost on our South Australian roads has been revised following an investigation into the death of a man at Milang in April.

Just after 1.15pm Tuesday 23 April, emergency services were called to Tee Road after reports that a car had left the road and collided with a stobie pole.

The driver and sole occupant, a 72-year-old local man, sadly died at the scene.

The man’s death has now been determined to be due to other issues.

As a result, the man's death will not be counted in the number of ‘Lives Lost’ on SA roads.

The current number of lives lost is 49 compared to 60 at the same time last year.
