An Outlaw Motorcycle Gang member has been charged after police located a loaded firearm and illicit drugs in his possession yesterday.
About 3.30pm Sunday 8 December police spotted a Harley Davidson motorcycle travelling in the Seaford Meadows area. The rider was wearing Comanchero OMCG vest.
Police attempted to stop the motorbike however the rider failed to stop and rode away from police at speed. Police did not pursue the motorbike but called in PolAir who were quickly overhead and able to safely track the rider.
Later, Officers from Crime Gangs Task Force arrested the man at a Modbury North Hotel. Officers allegedly found a trafficable quantity of methamphetamine in possession of the 35-year-old Aldinga Beach man.
Following an investigation, police searched an Elizabeth Downs address, where they located and seized the Harley Davidson motorcycle and a loaded firearm.
He was charged with riding disqualified, dangerous riding to escape police pursuit, traffic controlled drug, possess firearm without licence, contravene firearms prohibition order and possess prescription medication. He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
