Update - Search for missing man continues at Browns Beach

The alarm was raised about 8pm on Saturday 1 February, after the man who was fishing with friends was seen to fall into the water.

Police coordinated a search and rescue effort which included PolAir, Water Operations Unit and national park rangers but unfortunately the man has not been located.

Police will continue to search this morning with the assistance of Water Operations divers and local emergency services.
