UPDATE: Roads reopen after serious crash at Clovelly Park

Police are investigating a serious crash at Clovelly Park this morning.

The collision occurred on South Road, Clovelly Park just before 7am on Thursday 13 March.

A pedestrian was struck by a motorcycle while crossing the road.

The pedestrian, a 45-year-old man from Parafield Gardens sustained serious injuries.  His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The motorcyclist, a 53-year-old Old Reynella man was also injured in the crash.

Both men were taken to hospital by ambulance.

Citybound traffic on South Road was restricted while police examined the scene of the crash but has since reopened.
