Update: Fatal crash at Huntfield Heights

About 4.50pm on Friday 28 June, emergency services were called to Southern Expressway after reports of a multiple car crash.

The driver of a green Ford Falcon, a 58-year-old man from Christies Beach, died at the scene.

The drivers of three cars and a truck, all involved in the crash, were taken to hospital where they are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Southern Expressway and Main South Road at Huntfield Heights were closed for a number of hours but have since re-opened.

The man’s death is the 44^th Live Lost on South Australian roads this year.
