Update: Police investigating a serious crash at Mount Crawford

Just before 10.30 am today, (Saturday 21 December), police and emergency services were called to Forreston Road after reports of a collision between a car and motorcycle.

The rider, a 69-year-old man has been taken to hospital for treatment of serious life threatening injuries where he remains.

The driver of the vehicle and two passengers were treated for minor injuries. A third passenger was uninjured.

The road was closed for some time however has since re-opened.

Investigations are continuing.
