Serious crash at Netherby

Just after 8am this morning (Friday 13 September) police and emergency services were called to Rentoul Avenue after reports a young child was struck by a vehicle.

The child has been treated by Paramedics and has been transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle is assisting police and has been taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Major Crash Investigators are at the scene.

Rantoul Road is closed between Pulleine Avenue and Netherby Avenue.
