Fatal crash at Pewsey Vale

About 12.30 pm today, Sunday 22 December, police and emergency services were called to Springton Road after reports a car left the road and crashed into an embankment.

Sadly, the 74-year-old driver died at the scene.

Major Crash Investigators attended the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Road closures and diversions were in place however traffic has resumed.

The woman's death is the 85th life lost on South Australian roads this year.
