Update - Serious crash Smithfield

A man has been taken to hospital following a serious crash at Smithfield this afternoon.
At 1.10pm on Thursday 13 June police were called to Morialta Drive after reports a Toyota sedan had collied with a man riding a gopher.
The 80-year-old local man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the car was a not injured.
Major Crash Investigators attended to examine the scene and investigations are ongoing.
Anderson Walk was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
