Update: Arrest over North Plympton shooting incident

A man has been charged following a drive by shooting at North Plympton last night.

Just before 9.30pm on Thursday 20 February police were called to a business on Hawson Avenue after shots were fired at a building.

Fortunately, no one was inside the building at the time and there were no reports of injuries.

Southern District Detectives and Crime Scene investigators attended to examine the scene.

Following an investigation, late this afternoon (Friday 21 February), Detectives located and arrested a 48-year-old Fulham man.

He has been charged with discharge firearm with intent and possess firearm without a licence. He was refused bail and will appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday 24 February.
