Teens arrested after CBD affray

A pair of teens have been arrested following a fight captured on a mobile phone in the CBD yesterday afternoon.

About 1.15pm on Wednesday 18 December, police were called to King William Street in Adelaide after reports of a group of youths fighting.  Patrols attended however the youths had left the area prior to their arrival.

Operation Meld Detectives viewed CCTV footage of the incident and following an investigation they located and arrested two teenagers at a Blakeview address this morning (Thursday 19 December).

A 17-year-old boy from Adelaide was charged with aggravated affray and five counts of breach of bail.  A 14-year-old boy from Blakeview, was charged with aggravated affray, property damage and six counts of breach of bail.  They were refused police bail and will appear in Adelaide Youth court tomorrow.
