A man has lost his licence after he was caught driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol in Littlehampton.
It will be alleged that about 6.30pm on Saturday 21 December, police had set up a driver testing station on the Princes Highway when a Mitsubishi van entered the site.
The driver, a 67-year-old Mount Barker man underwent a breath test and returned a positive reading of 0.147.
He also tested positive to cannabis and a cannabis pipe was found in his possession.
The man was reported for drink-driving, his vehicle was impounded for 28 days and he was issued a six-month immediate loss of licence notice.
He was fined for the possession of the cannabis pipe and may face further charges once his drug test sample has been forensically analysed.
