Police have caught a hat-trick of drink-drivers in the Adelaide Hills yesterday.
About 6.44pm, police stopped a 24-year-old woman from Woodside driving on Nairne Road at Woodside. She underwent a breath test and returned a positive reading of 0.056. She was issued an on-the-spot fine and issued with a 24-hour driver direction notice.
At 7.52pm, police stopped a 51-year-old man from Williamstown driving on Mount Crawford Road at Williamstown after seen leaving local licenced premises. He underwent a breath test and returned a positive reading of 0.086. His car was impounded and he was issued a six-month immediate loss of licence notice. He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
At 8.15pm, police stopped a 47-year-old woman from Mount Pleasant driving on Showground Road. She underwent a breath test and returned a positive reading of 0.105. Her car was impounded and she was issued a six-month immediate loss of licence notice. She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
