A driver has been fined after he was detected speeding on three occasions in 15 minutes at Paracombe yesterday.
It will be alleged that between 5.40pm and 5.55pm on Sunday 10 November a speed detection operator was conducting speed detection duties on Gorge Road when they detected a Holden sedan on three occasions past through the speed camera at 131,119 and 127 km/h in a 80km/h speed zone.
Officers from the Road Police Section attended at the home address of the owner of the vehicle and spoke with the driver. Checks on his licence revealed that he was a provisional licence holder.
The 18- year-old man was issued with two instant loss of licences, and three expiation notices.
