UPDATE: Fatal crash at Basket Range

About 9.30am today (Monday 20 January), emergency services were called to Lobethal Road near Deviation Road after reports that a cyclist had crashed.

The rider, a 57-year-old Victorian man died at the scene.

Major Crash officers attended the scene to examine the circumstances of the collision.

Roads were closed for several hours but have since reopened.

The man's death is the fourth life lost on SA roads this year.
