Woman dies after Strathalbyn crash

A woman has died following a crash at Strathalbyn last week.

Emergency services were called to Parker Avenue, Strathalbyn about 5.45pm on Thursday 18 July after reports that a car had collided with a parked unoccupied truck.

The driver of the Peugeot, an 85-year-old Strathalbyn woman, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

Sadly, she died in hospital yesterday.

Major Crash officers attended the scene and are conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
