A woman has lost her licence after being caught drink-driving in Mount Gambier.
It will be alleged that about 1.50pm on Monday 2 December, police stopped a car on Gladigau Road and the driver underwent a breath test.
She returned a positive reading of 0.097.
The 47-year-old Mount Gambier woman was reported for drink-driving, her car was impounded for 28 days and she was issued a six-month immediate loss of licence notice.
She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
Limestone Coast Police will be out on the roads this holiday season, targeting drivers under the influence of alcohol and drugs. If you plan to go out and celebrate, plan how to get home safely via a taxi or ridershare vehicle, a designated driver or public transport.
Remember, one more drink could cost more than you think.
