A man has been arrested after being found with stolen property at Mount Gambier yesterday.
About 8.30am on Friday 14 March, police responded to reports of two men acting suspiciously on Commercial Street, Mount Gambier.
Police attended and located the two men with a car.
Police had cause to search the vehicle where they located a number of items believed to have been stolen from the show grounds between Sunday 9 March and Wednesday 12 March.
Police arrested and charged a 22-year-old man from Mount Gambier in relation to the break-ins and his bail has been refused.
He will appear in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court on Monday 17 March.
Investigations are continuing in regard to the second man.
