Poor driving results in loss of licence

12 Feb 2025 10:10am

A drink driver has lost her licence after being caught in the south-east earlier in the week.

About 3pm on Monday 10 February, Police stopped a grey Holden Trax on Rolland Street in Naracoorte after reports the car was seen being driven poorly.

The driver, a 64-year-old local woman, submitted to a breath test where she returned a positive result of 0.108 – more than double the legal limit.

She was reported for drink driving, issued a six-month immediate loss of licence and her vehicle was impounded for 28 days. She will be summonsed to appear in Naracoorte Magistrates Court at a later date.
