Update: Unexplained death at Mount Gambier

Just before 8am on Saturday 5 October police and emergency services were called to a property on Lake Terrace East after reports a woman was unconscious at the address.

On police arrival they located a 52-year-old woman who sadly could not be revived.

Following investigation by Mount Gambier Police, with the assistance of Forensic Response Section and Major Crime Detectives, and a post-mortem examination, the cause of death has been determined to be non-suspicious.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
