Arrest after house break-in at Chilton

Police have recovered a stolen Land Rover at Murray Bridge.

On 27 September a home at Chilton was broken into and a Land Rover was stolen.

Luckily the owner had a tracking device within the vehicle and was able to provide police with details of its location.

Murray Bridge police attended and searched an address a Sybil Court where they located the vehicle together with an amount of insecure ammunition.

A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass, theft, illegal use and possession of ammunition.

He has been bailed to attend Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on 11 November.
