Assault at Swan Reach

About 11.20pm on Sunday 7 October, police and emergency services were called to Victoria Street after reports of an assault.

The victim, a 51-year-old man from Blakiston, was taken to hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, a 27-year-old man from Marino, was arrested and charged with assault.  He was granted police bail to appear in Berri Magistrates Court in November.
