Boating incident at Morgan

Three children have been injured in a boat crash at Morgan.

About 11.40am , Saturday 11 January, police and emergency services were called to the river near Pelican Parade after reports that a boat towing an inflatable tube collied with a tree stump in the water causing the passengers on the tube to be ejected.

Two 9-year-old boys and a 10-year-old boy on the inflatable tube were all injured.

One 9-year-old boy suffered serious injuries and was flown to Adelaide the two other boys were taken to hospital for treatment.

Police are investigating to establish if any offences have been committed by the driver of the boat.
