Crash at Walker Flat

A woman was airlifted to hospital following a crash at Walker Flat.

Just after 7pm Friday 25 October, police and emergency services were called to Cliff View Drive, Walker Flat after a Holden sedan crashed into a tree.

The driver, a 53-year-old local woman, was trapped for some time and needed to be cut from the vehicle by CFS and SES crews. She was airlifted to Adelaide in a serious but stable condition.

Her passenger, a 24-year-old local man, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The car was towed from the scene and the road reopened about 11pm.

Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
