Two men have will appear in court after searches located a firearm and cannabis in Pinnaroo last week.
On Friday 28 March, police attended and searched a Pinnaroo address where they located an unregistered and insecure bolt action rifle, insecure ammunition and approximately 1kg of dried cannabis.
A 56-year-old man from the address was reported for possessing a firearm without a licence, possessing an unregistered firearm, insecure firearm, possessing ammunition and cannabis possession. He will be summoned to appear in the Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
On Sunday 30 March, police attended and searched a second address in Pinnaroo where they located two large cannabis plants growing in the back yard and a third cannabis plants was located drying nearby. All items were seized by police.
The occupant of the address, a 45-year-old man, was reported for cultivate cannabis and possessing cannabis. He will be summoned to appear in the Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
