Man charged with sexual offences in Riverland

A man will face court today charged with sexual offences occurring in the Riverland.

After an ongoing investigation, Berri Detectives in conjunction with the Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team, have arrested 56-year-old man from the Riverland for alleged sexual offences between 2002 and 2018.  He has been charged with two counts of maintaining an unlawful sexual relationship with a child and two counts of procuring a child for a sexual purpose.

He has been refused police bail and is expected appear at the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court today.
