Murray Mallee Weekend Traffic Wrap Up

The following traffic offenders were caught in the Murray Mallee LSA over the weekend.

At 7.30am on Friday 28 June, police stopped a Holden Van on Murtho Street. Checks on the licence of the driver a 27-year-old local man revealed he was disqualified from driving.

His vehicle was impounded, and he was reported for disqualified driving.  He will face court a later date.

At 3.00pm on Saturday 29 June, two males were reported for doing burnouts at Wildens Way, Murray Bridge.

A 19-year-old from Kepa and a 20-year-old from Mypolonga  were reported for misuse of a motor vehicle.

Both vehicles were impounded and both males will be summonsed to appear at court at a later date.

At 8.40pm on Saturday 29 June, Police spotted a Ford Sedan on Princes Highway, Meningie.

The driver a 17-year-old boy from Jervois, submitted to a roadside breath test where he allegedly returned a reading of positive breath test reading of 0.060.

Checks showed he was a provisional licence holder.
He was issued with a fine and reported for traffic offences. His vehicle was impounded and he will face court at a later date.
