Suspicious building fire

About 4.15pm on Tuesday 11 June, emergency services were called to a building fire in a vacant business premises on Pyap Street at Renmark.

Police arrived to find MFS crews still extinguishing the flames.  The fire had spread into the roof trusses prior to being extinguished.  No one was injured as a result of the fire.

Following an investigation, Berri Detectives reported a 17-year-old man from Renmark for arson.  He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
