Car crashed into parked vehicles at Golden Grove

Just after 9.15pm on Tuesday 17 September police were called to Chatswood Grove after reports a Suzuki sedan had crashed into a vehicles parked in a driveway causing the vehicles to be pushed into the garage of the property.

The driver of the vehicle then fled the scene leaving a passenger in the front seat.

Luckily there was no reports of injuries and the building sustained minor damage.

Police were quickly on scene and located the driver hiding in bushes in a neighbouring property.

The driver a 30-year-old woman from Greenwith has been reported for numerous traffic offences including, failing to stop at the scene of a crash, drive under the influence, fail to comply with breath analysis.

She has been issued a 12-month instant loss of licence and the vehicle was impounded.

She will be summoned to attend court at a later date.
