Car fire at Mansfield Park

About 4am on Friday 7 February, police were called to at Mansfield Park, after reports a car was on fire in a communal carpark off Haddington Crescent.

The inside of the vehicle was well alight, and the fire was extinguished by fire crews.

Checks revealed the Toyota Prado was stolen following a break-in at a Myrtle Bank home on Wednesday.

The car was towed from the scene and Crime Scene Investigators will examine the cause of the fire.
