Couple arrested over thefts

A man and woman have been arrested following an investigation into a series of thefts at a Salisbury North supermarket.

Operation Measure officers from Northern District were investigating thefts from a Whites Road supermarket which occurred between 28 April and 21 May.

As a result, police arrested a 43-year-old man from Evanston Park and a 46-year-old woman from Munno Para West. The man was charged with theft and bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 10 July. The woman was charged with two counts of theft and bailed to appear in court on 15 July.
