Crash at Cavan

About 9.30am today, emergency services attended Port Wakefield Road at Cavan after reports of a crash involving a utility and a truck, causing the utility to roll.

The driver of the Ford Ranger utility, a 43-year-old woman from Beulah Park, and two passengers were taken to hospital for assessment and treatment of minor injuries.

The truck driver, a 56-year-old man from Windsor Gardens, was uninjured and is assisting police with their enquiries.

One south bound lane was closed for a short time whilst emergency services cleared the area.
