A man has been arrested following a crime series in the northern suburbs.
Today 12 February police arrested a 37-year-old Elizabeth East man for break ins at business premises in Elizabeth East, Elizabeth Downs and Smithfield between December 2024 and February 2025.
Police will allege on Thursday 12 December 2024 there was a break in at a sports club at Elizbeth East where drinks and confectionery were stolen.
On Sunday 2 February a pizza shop in Elizabeth Downs was broken into where damage was caused with cooking oil, drinks and a CCTV camera stolen.
On Wednesday 5 February a Smithfield hairdresser was also broken into with damage caused and a number of items stolen including a CCTV camera.
On Sunday 9 February in Elizabeth Downs a pizza shop was broken into and damaged with food and drinks stolen.
Following an investigation, police searched the man's home address allegedly locating a number of the stolen items resulting in the man being arrested and charged with serious criminal trespass, property damage and theft.
The man will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court tomorrow 13 February.
