14 Jun 2024 6:23am

A man has lost his licence for a year after he was caught drink-driving at Dry Creek.

It will be alleged that about 11.20pm on Thursday 13 June, police were called to the North-South Motorway after witnesses reported that a white Ford Territory station wagon had collided with a concrete barrier in the centre of the road.

The driver attempted to reverse the car and drive off but was unsuccessful due to the damage to his vehicle.

When police arrived, he underwent a breath test and returned a positive reading of 0.201.

The 37-year-old Old Noarlunga man was reported for drink-driving and aggravated driving without due care.

He was issued a 12-month immediate loss of licence notice and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
