Two people have been arrested for breaking into cars in Salisbury North this morning.
Just after 2.30am police were called to Hunter Crescent after reports people were acting suspiciously and trying car door handles.
PolAir was quickly overhead and observed the duo attempt to break into vehicles in Rollison Avenue and Farley Grove.
Patrols with the assistance of PD Arlo attended the area and on seeing police the pair ran off onto Langford Terrace where they were quickly detained.
On searching the couple, a wallet and sunglasses were located, suspected to have been stolen from one of the vehicles.
A 17-year-old girl from Ingle Farm and a 21-year-old man from Parafield Gadens were arrested and have been charged with theft and interference with motor vehicle.
They have been bailed to attend the Elizabeth Youth Court on 11 April and Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 7 April.
Police are asking if anyone finds their vehicle has been broken into in the area overnight to call the police assistance line on 131 444.
