19 Dec 2024 9:45am

A man has lost his licence after being caught drink driving.

About 10.30pm Wednesday 18 December, Salisbury patrols stopped a Volkswagen Jetta sedan travelling north on Martins Road at Parafield Gardens.

The driver, a 30-year-old man from Windsor Gardens, submitted to a breath test returning a positive result of 0.236, more than four times the legal limit.

The man was reported for drink driving, his vehicle was impounded for 28 days, and he was issued a 12-month licence disqualification.

He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
