High-range drink-driver caught at Paralowie

A woman has lost her licence for a year after she was caught drink driving in Paralowie.

Just before 11pm on Saturday 22 March, police attended Bolivar Road after reports a silver Hyundai station wagon was weaving in and out of traffic with a flat tyre.

Members of public were able to assist with stopping the driver, a 51-year-old woman from Salisbury North until police arrived.

The driver underwent a breath test and returned a positive reading of 0.318.

She was reported for drink driving and driving without due care and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

She was issued with a 12-month immediate loss of licence notice.

The car was impounded for 28 days.
