Northern suburbs house fire

About 1am on Sunday 15 December, police and emergency services were called to Halsey Road at Elizabeth East following reports of flames coming from the roof of a house.

Police and MFS crews attended and found the house engulfed in flames.  Fire crews extinguished the blaze however the house was extensively damaged.

Fortunately, no one the resident was not home at the time of the fire and there were no reports of injuries.

Fire Cause Investigators attended the scene this morning and were unable to determine the cause of the fire.
