Northern suburbs man arrested for child sex offence

Detectives from the SA Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (SA JACET), a partnership between South Australia Police and Australian Federal Police, arrested a 44-year-old man from the northern suburbs this morning.

The man was charged with possessing child exploitation material. He was refused police bail and appeared in Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.

Detective Senior Sergeant Graham Tomkins, from SA Police said, “These are not just images on a screen, every image and every second of a video has a real child being abused and being subjected to a situation that no child should ever experience.”
