Penfield Gardens assault

About 8pm on Thursday 6 June, police were called to Robert Road after reports that a 47-year-old northern suburbs man was assaulted by a group of four men, after driving his tow truck to the area.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

It is believed the victim is known to the suspects, who left the scene in a silver Toyota Camry sedan.

The Camry was later located and seized by police for forensic examination.

Two other vehicles, a green Mazda sedan and another Toyota Camry sedan were also seized by police

Police are investigating and have spoken with all parties involved in the matter, including a woman who was at the initial scene.
