Motorcyclist injured in crash at Angle Vale

Police are investigating a serious crash at Angle Vale this morning.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Angle Vale Road and Riverbanks Road, Angle Vale.

A motorcycle collided with another car and then a traffic pole.

The rider, a 19-year-old Lewiston man, was rushed to hospital by ambulance in a serious condition.  His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.

The other driver, a 39-year-old woman, and her passengers were not physically injured in the crash.

Riverbanks Road was closed in both directions but has since reopened.

Major Crash officers attended the scene and are assisting with the investigation into the crash.
