Roads reopen after serious crash at Parafield

Roads have reopened after a serious crash at Parafield.

About 6.40am today (Saturday 20 July), police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Kings Road and Main North Road after a silver BMW sedan and a black Yamaha motorcycle had collided.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 27-year-old Mawson Lakes man suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

The driver of the sedan, a 58-year-old Salisbury East man was not injured.

Major Crash officers attended the scene to investigate the circumstances of the collision.

Roads were closed in the area for about four hours but have since reopened.
