Man arrested after servo theft at Angle Vale

A man has been arrested following an alleged theft and assault at a service station at Angle Vale this morning.

At 6am on Wednesday 9 April, a man entered the servo on Angle Vale Road, Angle Vale and stole items.  When confronted by staff he allegedly threatened them and presented a knife before driving off.

There were no injuries.

Following investigations this morning, a 35-year-old Valley View man was arrested and charged with theft and assault.  He was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 14 May.
