Police are investigating after shots were fired at an Andrews Farm home early this morning.
About 4am Monday 16 December police were called to a home on Eton Drive after reports of shots being fired.
When police arrived they located two holes in the house consistent with bullet holes. An 18-year-old man inside the premises received an injury to his leg. He has been conveyed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police located a vehicle nearby containing two teens and ammunition. The two 17-year-old boys, from Munno Para and Smithfield Plains, have been charged with possessing ammunition without a licence and failing to answer questions. They were granted bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 7 February.
A firearm was located in a second vehicle located near the scene and has been seized for forensic examination. Crime Scene Investigators attended the scene this morning to assist with the investigation.
